The bike fork stem extender can extend the fork stem by a maximum of 70mm. Easy installation is achieved by simply connecting it to the original front fork stem. The adjustable height feature allows for a maximum extension of 2.7 inches (0 - 70mm). The fork stem diameter is 1-1/8 inch, which is the standard size. The weight of the extender is 7oz, and it is made of forged 6061 aluminum alloy with a polished anodized finish, ensuring it is solid, secure, and durable.
The installation process involves the following steps: 1. Remove the cover of the original bike handlebar. 2. Remove the handlebar stand. 3. Install the bike fork stem extender, then adjust the position and fix the adjustment screw. 4. Depending on the desired height increase, add some gaskets. 5. Install the handlebars stand and fix the screws on the stand. 6. Finally, install the cover of the bike fork stem extender.
The package includes 1 Bike Stem Riser, with 4 gaskets (3 x 10mm and 1 x 5mm) to accommodate different height requirements. The user can freely adjust the gaskets to fit their preferred height.
The bike fork stem extender is suitable for most bikes with a 1-1/8'' threadless headset. Its use enhances handling flexibility, reduces weight, and makes it easier to exert force when climbing, resulting in a more comfortable operation.
